I support assisted suicide in cases where it is the logical and understanding thing to do.

When I tried to kill myself and woke up to learn I had failed, the last thing I felt was cowardly. I tried really, really hard. Killing yourself is not easy.

Assisted Suicide should be legal, but regulated. Because I agree with Roxy, you can't exactly trust a mentally ill person to make good choices.

I think the law is in place to prevent murders from having another way to escape conviction more than moral/ethical reasons. Could be different in Ireland.
