That's not true at all, you are changing the goalposts. You claimed that Republicans didn't want any new laws. I proved they do, then you changed it that they don't want any new laws in gun control. I gave you two examples of Republicans that wanted new gun control laws. And your response was them turning down out right gun bans. Don't make me go back and quote you, I am petty enough to put forth that effort.



Saying they are against it doesn't mean they are against it. Ben Shapiro wanted to expand background checks and so did Bush. Bush wanted to close the gun show loopholes too.


Not it wasn't. If you watched the video Bush explains that he pushed to have the assault weapon ban extended and the gun show loopholes fixed but congress wouldn't support it. So Bush did support new gun control laws. Also, you again gave examples of parts of his administration turning down gun bans. Yes, Republicans are against gun bans, especially hand gun bans, but they are not against gun control like you said. So quit posting about them ruling gun bans unconstitutional especially since most Democrats would turn down handgun bans as well.
