The polls these two guys make are fantastic. Normally, issue voting (based on statements made by candidates during the campaign) are unreliable because candidates are more concerned with getting elected and appealing to the middle than they are making actual statements based on their beliefs, but these guys counter that by making a note of whenever candidates contradict their previous statements, and mark that issue as being less important to that candidate.

98% for Bernie Sanders. Wish America was cool enough to elect this guy, wish the Labour party in the UK were cool enough to elect Jeremy Corbyn.

Machine 07-11-2015 09:48 AM

97% Bernie Sanders; I wish I was gonna be able to vote in the next election. I'll be 18 like 4 months after the election.

Janszoon 07-11-2015 09:53 AM

Bernie Sanders 98%

Rick Santorum 0%

Sounds about right.

Dude wants Jesus watching you while you eat, sleep, fornicate, and defecate.

And don't you dare masturbate under his watch.

Oh no, I don't have time for that B.S. 51% just means I agree with the majority of his views, but definitely not all, as there's still 49% of his views I do not agree with. Interestingly, a majority is not always a land slide or should it be all that disturbing. ;)

I'll masturbate on his watch while he's still wearing it.

Sanders average above 90%.. yet no one voting for him. Sense made.

I'm starting to think the middle class deserves to get fucked by the rich for being so stupid.

If he can survive till the end and it's him or Clinton, he'll get my vote. I just don't think he has the $$$ backing to make it.

And ya, the fact that it comes down to $$$ sucks. But it is what it is.

Yes, he came in as my number 5

1. Bernie Sanders 77%
2, Hillary Clinton 74%

and disturbingly Rick Santorum came out at number 3?!?

How the f)ck did that happen? I must of hit the pro life button by accident.

(I am too ashamed to post the %)

There's no point in waiting, it's already him or Clinton. And he's going to need all the support he can get, because of $$$.

what part of lesser of two evils don't you people understand?

of course, with obama in 2008 he wasn't so much evil as he was inexperienced and naive and perhaps doomed for a mediocre presidency as a result

where as the email-deleting political commissar clinton is actually straight up evil, albeit probably a much more competent machiavellian washington insider than obama ever could be

yea yea yea... more "you hate women cause you slag off hillary" nonsense from chula

in all honesty, i have a mild distaste for hillary cause of her cookie cutter tv politician personality.. and since "i'm a woman!!" is her main selling point, it makes it pretty tempting to mock her in a misogynist manner... not just cause she's a woman, but because the fact that she uses it so excessively to fuel her political career is once again a bit cringe worthy, and i would say sets women back a few years if anything

if it were elizabeth warren instead of hillary clinton i guarantee i wouldn't have the same approach.. because warren actually has a bit of authenticity to her

but mostly i don't really care that hillary's going to be president that much... its just you're such a diehard fan of hers that you make attacking her more fun than seriously discussing her campaign... much like batlord & co obviously don't care about football yet they attack your beloved tom brady

but i just think that while i realize that in all likelihood, a boring, run of the mill politician like hillary or jeb bush will be president.. rather than actually rooting one of those losers on, it's more fun to use the next year or so to entertain the idea of an america run by his excellence mr trump or even a true progressive like sanders

give me a break, chula. you read every word like it was scripture and you know it.

i do have to say though, the fact that you're retreating into the "war on women" bs really demonstrates for me the full extent of your brainwashing

sanders 76%

kind of disappointing I have to vote for a candidate I only agree with on 3/4ths of the issues...gotta love the two-party system!

bush and christie were the highest scoring republicans which is no surprise.

Ah come on. If that was too long, what chance has Lord Larehip got? That wasn't a wall of text, and JWB (Presidential Campaign pending) made some good points. You should read it, if you haven't already, instead of just dismissing it out of hand. TBH, most times I think the "tl;dr" response is very annoying. If someone goes to the trouble of writing a lot of stuff in response to a question or position you have, you should at least do them the courtesy of reading it. It's just rude otherwise imo.

First off, I don't see Clinton using her womanhood at all. She's old and not attractive - it wouldn't do her any good if she was. Someone like Nikki Haley could pull that **** off.

Secondly, what's with the brainwashing? Clinton aligns with my ideologies. As does Sanders. How is that brainwashing? You using that word is just as bad as me using misogyny.

Lastly, go post in the Snog, shag, or marry thread just for the hell of it.

Xurtio 07-12-2015 08:56 AM

Strawman on the using her womanhood retort. The argument is that she's using the fact that she's an oppressed class of citizen, not shaking her hips and discretely releasing sex tapes.

I don't know if the argument is true (I haven't heard from Clinton at all) but I figure it's best to argue on the merits so the discussion doesn't get derailed.

But is she? Got any examples? From what I see it's her detractors who are making it such a big deal and not actually her.
