Christian Wonder Bread White America

Why have they been constantly on the defensive and afraid throughout this (Euroamerican) nation's history? What do they have against:

The native Americans
The Blacks
The Jews
Women's rights
The Irish Catholic
The gays
The impoverished
Those who support welfare and social security
Those who want government regulation of Wall Street and banking
Those who want socialization of health care programs
Sensible gun control measures

ETC, ETC, ETC.

And now, the entire Islam religion and all Muslims in general.

Timothy McVeigh and Eric Rudolph were both Christians for ****s sake.

The Answer is: GUILT.

I was born into Wonder Bread White America. I am so glad I ****ing escaped. I'm almost ready to disown some of my family back east based on their CWBW tinged posts of late. Totally reek of racism/classism/homophobia.

EDIT: I'm drunk and not articulating well. Just really pissed at some of the posts I've read just now on FB.

Zhanteimi 12-14-2015 10:54 PM

I hear ya. I left the Heartland, where hypocrisy is raised to an art form, moved to another country, immersed myself in another language and culture, and forgot all about ever going back to the Divided States of Embarrassment* (but there are plenty of good people in the States, of course!). It just wasn't for me.

Speaking as someone who lives in the deep, deep south, a lot of those people just can't wrap their heads around things, or don't want to try. A lot of them are from poor areas and just have more than they can handle going on in their lives so when it comes to larger issues they tend to just blurt **** out. I have heard some things you would not believe. I have heard someone advocate using the US military as a mercenary force to make money. I have heard people advocate unlimited military spending because it's "nice to have". I live next to a place that still sometimes makes black customers use the side entrance.

****'s real.

But at the same time it's mostly old people and old people die.

I've already seen the old person pass it on to his son, and by result, his 2 grandsons.

The son use to be my best friend and brother in law.

The virus spreads way too easy.

Nameless 12-15-2015 01:10 AM

Honestly I thin it dies out faster than it spreads. I mean the average age of a Fox News viewer is what... like 60something now?

As the honored sage Homer Simpson once famously said, "The great thing about having kids is you can teach them to hate the same things you do!"

And to think that I ranted yesterday about homes not being single family income anymore....**** you carreer girls.

It's not guilt. They are self-righteous whackjobs with no respect or appreciation for cultural diversity and life. They single-handedly make all the good religion has done(on a global scale) hard to appreciate.

This seems most appropriate. I just finished listening to John Grant's Queen of Denmark album which included this lovely little tune:

John Grant - Jesus Hates Faggots

That's sarcastic/satirical, yeah? Like "I hate this town"...?

DwnWthVwls 12-15-2015 06:10 PM

Yes, it's a social commentary Troll.

Is "social commentary Troll" anything like Sexual Harassment Panda?

Zhanteimi 12-15-2015 06:26 PM

John Grant's Pale Green Ghosts is amazing. The last track, "Glacier", talks about how people condemn others but truly think they're condemnation is based in love.

Fantastic album. That's the one with "I hate this town"

So real.

Linda's half sister from Chicago just posted a picture on Facebook of Jacqueline Kennedy looking all prim and proper alongside a picture of Michelle Obama looking all amped up at a rally with the caption: ''Have we really come to this?"

Good lord. I really like this girl. She's a blast to hang with and she's always been more than gracious to me. But I couldn't hold back and replied: "Really?"

Will update on how this plays out.

Fixed. Seriously, I'm a total outlier when it comes to my family. I can usually hold my tongue but this one is so blatantly racist.

*checks bottom right corner of screen*

Nope, still 2015.

Zhanteimi 12-16-2015 01:25 AM

I often see Obama referred to as "The Commander in Chimp" and Michelle as "The First Wookiee".

You should post some unflattering candid photo of Linda's half sister from Chicago and ask her "have we really come to this?"

Also, "Linda's Half Sister from Chicago" would be a pretty good band name.

RoxyRollah 12-16-2015 02:42 PM

Like y'all are ready to see Michelle Obama with rollers and silk cap on patting her hair cos its wove too tight...Stop lyin white people y'all aint ready...

Chula Vista 12-16-2015 03:30 PM

Zero response from the sister. A few people are backing me up though. Here's the follow up post.

By all accounts Jacqueline was a royal entitled bitch to the WH staff. Plus she just sat back while her husband was screwing anything with a pulse. And her cold stoic facade after JFK was killed always struck me as odd. By comparison, Michelle is pretty damn cool. She'd kick her husband's ass if he messed around. And she shows passion. Too bad she's black though....

Frownland 12-16-2015 04:14 PM

Have we come to giving a **** about the wife of some powerful dude?

Goofle 12-16-2015 04:20 PM

I'm currently imagining an alternate universe in which Michelle Obama was white. It's quite interesting to ponder what the public reaction to her would be were she to act in the same exact way.

Wow, the negativity is off the charts there, I don't think Rush Limbaugh would say something with that much animosity towards Jackie O. You know that is the same thing that was said about a wife of another Democrat president, i.e. Hillary Clinton. Is this true about Jackie O, or did someone get the first ladies mixed up? Jackie O seems so classy, I can't believe it. Begs the question "What do Christian Wonder Bread White Americans have against Democratic First Ladies?"

Yes, that's the picture. I read something years back about how Jackie O was a princess in public but was pretty dickish behind the scenes. Maybe it was her anger because of how her husband was treating her. Not saying she owns that persona. Just put it out there in response to the original post by the sister.

Frownland 12-16-2015 06:25 PM

Again, why do we even give a **** about the first lady? Seems like being obsessed with Jimi Hendrix's house.

grindy 12-16-2015 06:29 PM

Red House?

Janszoon 12-16-2015 06:32 PM

The worst thing about going to Jimi Hendrix's house is all the crosstown traffic.

I'm obsessed with the blatant racism being put on display by some family members and have decided to call them out on it.

One thing I've noticed is that family members and friends often post things on social media that they'd never say in face-to-face conversation.

RoxyRollah 12-16-2015 07:45 PM

Thats because real racists are quiet....they look around before they say something stupid.....people who spew exscriment on their social media want your attention for whatever reason...Don't feed the animals....

Frownland 12-16-2015 07:57 PM

Nah there are for real racists out there that are just as willing to say racist ****e in person as on social media. My honkie heritage attests to this.

Chula, that's noble of you to stand up to racism. You still haven't answered my question on why we care about the figures you're discussing.

You did....right? I mean I could have sworn you did.

Chula Vista 12-16-2015 08:38 PM

I did? I think I might be a bit concussed. It just so happened that the post was about first ladies.
