see. this is the problem. in the middle east, we hear about what happens on OUR soil and also what happens all over the world. but america only cares about america, it seems.

So true. We're an extremely self centered nation because we consider ourselves above all of the fray. America sucks in that regard. I hate that part of my heritage.

While I myself don't necessarily agree with the iraq war, its a bit overkill to call it terrorism.

Easy to say from your side. Same goes for ISIS and Al Queda. It's not terrorism if it's you doing the terrorizing.

Just because we have bigger guns doesn't justify anything.

How much terror was there that first night when people were woken from sleep to find there houses, businesses, livelihoods being bombed to ****?

How different is that from bombs in railway stations? Or planes crashing into buildings?

why shouldn't he call it that? they killed over 1,000,000 innocent people. for political reasons. or just to scare them. sometimes even just for their own amusement. terrorism is the use of violence to intimidate or coerce, especially for political purposes. its what the americans did in iraq and what the israelis did and are still doing in palestine.

i remember when i was 11 or 12 years old.. watching this on television. it was created in reaction to the iraq war and the israel war with lebanon and palestine and a lot of other issues that were going on at the time. honestly not much has changed...

honestly at the time i thought americans were the most evil creatures on the planet. i don't make those stupid generalizations anymore... but i do believe the iraq war was a HUGE mistake. and caused so much more death and pain than anything else.

The belief in the WMD's that they thought were there. Plus we were also trying to fix the mistakes we had made in the 80's. Again, I don't agree with the war, but are intent wasn't to destroy them all.

if it was just for the WMD... they would have left as soon as they realized there weren't any.

I never said I agree with the war. I've said the opposite infact. I just think it's overkill to call it terrorism.
