I've always thought that was a stupid definition. What is it being used to define? It's as useless for describing what it's referring to as the definition for "irony".

It's pretty black and white. And ya, it's mostly political.

a terroristic method of governing or of resisting a government.

That could also describe a military crackdown in a dictatorship. Definition 3 even points that out. Why would you use the same word to describe that and 9/11?

I didn't write it. I checked a few online dictionary's and they all use the same basic definition.
