I've tried to explain this to DJ but parents do and should have the right to do what they want. Even FGM apparently.

There is no fuss, there is no trauma in regards to not having it and it's not that big of a deal as far as people saying that it causes any adverse harm to you when you were a baby. You have no memories of losing it right?

because i was so young having it done. people who get circumcised at a more developed time (due to infection or religious reasons i would assume) definitely experience extreme pain and suffering because of it.

i'm still of the opinion that people can do what they want, but i've definitely come around more to the other side after reading more on the subject. comparing it to FGM is incredibly naive however.

Yeah, I've heard about that and I've also heard about other complications that happen when people get it done later on in life but for the most part it happens to babies.
