Gary Johnson is such a ****ing joke. I wish he would have been allowed to debate so everyone else could see how much of a joke he is way ahead of time so his fanboys could stop riding his dick.

Gary Johnson Struggles To Name A Foreign Leader He Admires | Huffington Post

Quote:
Libertarian presidential nominee Gary Johnson on Wednesday again stumbled over a straightforward question on foreign policy, this time struggling to name a single foreign leader he admires.

During an MSNBC town hall, moderator Chris Matthews asked the former New Mexico governor: “Name one foreign leader that you respect and look up to. Anybody.”

Johnson appeared stumped by the question, but running mate Bill Weld jumped in with an answer of his own.

I believe the answer you are looking for IS forever!

Oh yeah there are more third party candidates than Gary Johnson and Jill Stein? Tell me all about Gloria La Riva and these other third party candidates that I bet you a large majority of the population don't even know about.

Simply voting for a third party would neither dismantle the two party system or substantially alter the views expressed in congress. The system defaults to two parties do to its structure, so best case scenario a third party supplants an existing party as being a major party. Further, even if elected, they would have to modify their positions to gain a majority. Hence why each national party has unique local expressions.

The unfortunate thing it leads to is people are comfortable with the way things are, and not enough people want to change it to make a difference, so the two party system is here to stay as long as people don't have to work very hard to make change. I'm as disappointed by third parties not getting a chance as a lot of people, but that's how America works. If we can be lazy and just pick the lesser of two evils, there's no point in trying to make a difference.

You need an American Revolution Part II, dude. Of course it's not going to happen anytime soon unless a lot of people change their mindsets, but that's why we say agitate, educate, organize.

Revolution? For what? To put someone else in charge to **** everything up? Revolutions rarely make things better. You want proof? Look at African countries that have an uprising every few years. You romanticize revolution.

The only reason I mentioned that is because unfortunately as voting is concerned, there are very few states that make it easy. Some people get to the point where they don't even bother unless the voting ballot is sent to them in the mail, which it is here in Washington. But I know not all states follow.

And your point? I got lucky to live in a country where the revolution benefitted me. Most of the time revolutions only benefit the people leading them.
