This was an election that had very little to do with any sort of policies either politicians had to offer, I'm sure we can agree on that?

The supporters of whom? You're seriously saying "The Left" is now so extremely PC that they don't acknowledge terrorism and that would lead them to voting for Trump?

Huh.

It is pretty sad that people would be willing to vote like a right dumbass just because they have such little exposure to the left that they think the extreme (remember, a ridiculously small segment of what we call the left) defines the whole.

It's absolutely as absurd as touting all conservatives as racists.

World leaders are greeting Trump's win by sending formulaic messages of "we look forward to working with...", but the world press is more outspoken about the election result. The most extreme is an Indian newspaper, with "This Is The World's Worst Headline: Trump Is President." Other papers aren't quite so dramatic, but there is no praise or enthusiasm for the result anywhere, as far as I can see:-

Also, I'm sad to see that Trump is winning in our own MB poll. :(

I had hoped and hoped we had enough intelligent people in this country to see us through, but I can't say I didn't see this coming. The whole world is prepping for a big showdown. Country after country are electing conservative demagogues. Prepare for a rough next few years.
