Congrats to Daddy.

Hopefully he does a good job. Deserves a chance.

Same. Well I just can't watch it in general.

I wore all black today and if I was feeling a bit better I would have participated in this march where everyone wore black and had black umbrellas with different words on it.

If you saw the Dark Knight you already know what he said if you remember Bane's Speech.

At least Bane stood up to Wall Street and the 1%.

Why would you participate in a march that has literally zero chance of accomplishing anything? That just sounds like self-indulgence.

It was partly a joke and to celebrate the death of democracy. It's a performance art type thing.

You just answered your own question.

The inauguration speech was nothing new. If you're terrified of everything and anything, it's probably for you.

Also the inauguration/protests have not reached a satisfactory level of shitshow for me.

Funeral for American Democracy. That’s the title of the upcoming march to protest the swearing-in of president-elect Donald Trump. Scheduled to start at Broadway and Colden Street on Friday at noon, the march is expected to be part protest, part political statement and part performance art.

The event is open to public participation. March organizer and Newburgh artist Julie Tremblay described the march as a “performance art piece.”

“I felt like I wanted to do something locally,” Tremblay said. “I’m grateful to those who are traveling far away to march, but we shouldn’t forget about taking local action.”

Donning black for Donald Trump or showing your support for ninjas?

Chula Vista 01-20-2017 02:43 PM

Amazingly enough, Trump's stance with China might actually help our lawsuit with the US megacorp and the China factory.

Go Donald.

I need to shower........

How does Trump's election mark the death of democracy?

Hyperbole, mostly.
