So are you going to make every person in the country move to L.A. then? Cause if they choose to live anywhere else, their vote will not matter.

Voting by district would make a little more sense though.

Yes, obviously.

Just curious, what are your thoughts on affirmative action?

Lol...

Affirmative action is great institutionally. Discrimination, unfortunately, happens regardless of what legislation is in place. It even emerges at companies where you'd think they should know better. The question of how much or how little the government should do will be an ongoing debate 'til the end of time.

Combatting this victimization of having a less popular opinion by making the votes from LA not matter doesn't solve anything.

A message for John Lewis and any whiners who patted themselves on the back for posting "Not my president!" on Facebook.

on my way home from school i was stopped by a news reporter and asked for my thoughts on trump. i'm kinda scared though because the friend i was with is a trump supporter so if they only show what he said i'll end up on the news looking like a douchenozzle who thinks trump is going to "fix america and end pc culture."

Frownland 01-19-2017 08:51 AM

That feeling when Trump's pandering is literal political correctness.

i agree. i went on a rant about the state of politics and the influence of the media and the internet but i doubt it'll make the news. whereas my friend screaming about immigration and pc culture is almost guaranteed.

Hang on, is your sidekick one of those half-informed Trump supporters or is this a different friend?

Ol’ Qwerty Bastard 01-19-2017 09:08 AM

my sidekick?

edit - oh wait, yeah. it's him.
