Thanks for the replies guys. I guess it did happen, but nothing was shown on the news here. Maybe it's because there was a more "it's a good thing" sort of vibe being pushed by the media than there is with Trump, where really I suppose they can see no real "good thing" to push. I guess all the hatred and racism and protests got lost (at least, over here) amid the general euphoria that a black man had finally made it to the highest position in the country, and not just to deliver pizzas.
We certainly got a different viewpoint over this side, which is why I asked the question, though it does make sense that there would have been those protests. I just wondered why we had never heard of them being mentioned in the mainstream news media. |
It's because it was done on a much smaller scale.

Obama was well educated on Islam, as well as a lot of other things related to world affairs, before campaigning for office. Too bad Trump didn't take the same route and instead just used negative stereotypes to fuel the fear of his supporters.

But I honestly believe that Obama/Islam while being the same generally speaking but was on a much tinier scale than Trump/Bush. Obama/Islam didn't have 13 US intelligence agencies backing it up. I don't remember any prominent Muslims being so vocal of wanting Obama to win. I also don't remember information being leaked that was tied to any Muslim nation that may have negatively affected either McCain or Romney. |

My primary point is that these two camps are operating in a very similar nature due to their lack in critical thinking and skepticism when it comes to things that they either already believe or want to believe.
Oh and there was that Vice doc on the Romneys' involvement in the Mexican drug war, but I don't know how much of an effect it had. |

As of today TSDJD is back on the "3.5 million illegal votes - I won the popular vote by a huge margin". Again TSDJD speaks of reports and studies he's seen but refuses to release them. (sound familiar?)
Sean Spicer actually looked really uncomfortable at today's press conference trying to relay TSDJD's message of illegal votes. And I just watched Paul Ryan and Mike Huckabee basically laugh and deny it when asked. Dude, you got the job. She got 3 million more votes. Deal with it. |
