I think a lot of Americans underestimate the horrors of crime and the disintegration of the schools in the U.K. But in the pits of America's worst areas it's a lot worse. Parts of Baltimore, Detroit, DC, Atlanta, and of course, Chicago are so ****ing unlivable. I know getting jacked in London hurts just as much as in New York and dead is dead but even so.

Also, don't underestimate how horrible our healthcare system is if you're poor. Turned away, left to die, and still put in bankruptcy.

And while I'm at it, our penal system. For profit torture chambers. Anal rape for marijuana possession and then they charge you for it and make it almost impossible to work again.
