Ooooohhhh, someone's chapped. I read the article you linked and it was pretty much what I've already deduced on my own. I've been observing Trump for decades before he decided to run for office. Guy has been a total entitled, egotistical dick for a long, long time. Just because he's in an executive position doesn't change the basic makeup of a person.

Comey is in no trouble whatsover becasue of this. BTW, the word "leak" is not a legal term.

As the director of the FBI, and having been a 30+ year lawyer, Comey believed that Trump was attempting to obstruct justice and reported it after Trump basically admitted it to Russian officials in the oval office while on camera and being recorded.

Once again, take off your Trump colored glasses. Actually you should throw them in the trash. They seriously cloud your judgement of REALITY.

Re: Sessions - talk about having your cake and eating it too. Trump knew that evoking Executive Priviledge would have been a politically disastrous move from a public perception standpoint, yet Sessions, over and over again refused to answer questions because "The President may envoke it some time in the future".

I'd say it's likely to make a bad man worse.

Do you really believe that justice and the rule of law are still realities an innocent man has in his favor? Comey might go to jail. Trump might become the most powerful dictator ever. We don't know where this is going.

Check out my edit to my original post. Comey is fine. He's been earning respect in Washington for decades. No politician who wants to keep his job is going to vote to jail him. There's literally hundreds of people willing to testify in a positive way on his behalf.

CNN interviewed a bunch of Trump voters right after his testimony and all of them but one said they fully trusted Comey as a man of integrity.

Meanwhile, Trump's approval ratings continue to dip to record lows.

I think the most startling things from today's testimony is Sessions first admitting that he agreed with most of the intelligent agencies that Russia was trying to hack the 2016 election. And then he went on to say he didn't receive any briefings, he didn't request any of his staff to look into it. He made no public statements about it.

Yes, he recused himself from the Trump/Russian collusion investigation. But he's the goddamn Attorney General of the United States. He should have stayed involved with the basic election issue in regards to Russia. He shrugged it off like it was a bothersome mosquito today. That, along with his memory "issues" makes him unfit for the job. Can we at least agree on that?
