Yes, if you have strep you are not healthy in the moment and if you dont get treatment it can get bad quickly. Next time you for a physical make sure to ask them to check you for strep. While youre at it get tested for every other possible ailment.

Elph your point about preventative medicine is the one thing i do agree with you on and id like to address it further so ill be back to it later.

No. I don't get it. Spell it out for me like I'm retarded.

My thinking is if people can't go see a doctor all kinds of fixable things don't get fixed. Strep throat, scabies, syphilis, pink eye, and on and on. Am I wrong to conclude our general public health could be improved by allowing people to fix this stuff? I'm thinking in your mind it's like when a person confuses weather and climate but if you could do me the kindness of spelling it out for me.

You know what our ****ty healthcare system should largely be blamed for? Needless deaths, lack of treatment for the poor, overuse of treatments which increase immunity in viruses/bacteria, prescription drug abuse, etc.. NOT the general health of the population.

Don't those things factor into the general health of the population, from a statistical standpoint?

When it comes to life expectancy the very stress of being poor will take years of your life not to mention the poor healthcare

life expectancy in the US for the working class is declining for the first time since the AIDS epidemic

So is this a "personal responsibility" issue or maybe, just maybe, we treat our workers like **** in this country

Pretty much exactly this. If you don't work for the bigger companies in the country, you basically get the worst treatment you can find. It's all about greed and not wanting to provide a healthy wage for the workers involved. That's why so many people just start their own businesses (which can be a very smart route). Small businesses need to be catered to more because that's the main thing that will bring the economy back on track. People can disagree with that all they want, but there's no way you can argue that small businesses have created a great living for those that couldn't find it before. It's allowed people to learn skills they never thought they had and plus, nothing wrong with being your own boss. I did it for a while. It's stressful but it can be worth it if done properly. (no im not talking about my clickbait job).

Stress is a killer. A silent, but very deadly killer.

All of the women on The Apprentice flirted with me - consciously or unconsciously. That's to be expected.
