I'd describe it the same way as Obama's election: the stronger social media force won.

If the U.S. Office of Government Ethics states that "All executive branch employees must refrain from misuse of position, including endorsements." Then he should refrain from endorsing products considering the position he is about to hold, the office of the president of the Unite States. I have no qualms over that so don't act like I do.

What I was addressing was the mindset of the "Activist" who want punish Trump supporter and boycott any thing and everything related to them. You know presidential campaigns are not free. Hillary Clinton raised $932.3 million to loose, and that was a fine investment. Why isn't donating a little cash to a political action committee in favor of Trump equally respected?
Either way you were just trying to deflect criticism cause you're a generic conservative hack.

Yeah I have to agree. The point being made was not, I think, that corporations should not be able to contribute to presidential campaigns, but that after they have done and their guy has won, that guy, the new president, should not be able to basically advertise for them. Payback like that is certainly unethical.

Do it behind closed doors like the rest of our presidents, Trump!

Well to be fair, Trump hasn't been inaugurated to any formal office as of yet, so even now he's still just a private citizen. So if he wants to tweet and give shout outs to companies, CURRENTLY it is perfectly within his rights to do so. After the 20th though...not so much.

On another note....it all makes sense now!

While it's within his power to do so, it's not particularly smart to do so. This just cements the fact that those companies will do whatever they can not to work with him.

I had already quoted other posts and couldn't add it. What do you care?

Well, he is the president elect, and nobody is going to be stupid enough not to know and realise that if the president elect endorses something, it's pretty much the same as the president doing it, only that few days prior. You think he's going to withdraw the comment once he's in office??
