I actually think that's only on journal entries.

No it's on all posts. I only know this cause of trolling.

i guess a "haha what?" / "haha what a moron" type of thing rather than a "haha he said that word" kind of thing is more acceptable (?), but it's still weird to me. not trying to come off as the authoritative figure on humor, so my bad if it seems that way - this is all a personal take. the vid's just not something i'd chuckle at even in a hey-that-professional-is-being-awfully-unprofessional sense. had he said something else that was still unprofessional? sure, maybe. that depends, obviously. this just isn't content i'd think to approach humorlessly, but it's not like i'm morally faultless.

basically, this is a throwaway post

Nothing I can say. I apologise unreservedly to you Nea. I am deeply sorry I unintentionally trivialised your loss. Had I bothered to read the thing I would not have said what I did and would have understood why you were so upset. I hope you accept that. Very sorry, truly and I will be in less of a hurry in future.

Trollheart, don't waist a minute worrying over it. I don't hold anything against you, you didn't know about my friend before hand so there's no need to feel sorry about anything. The whole back and forth started with a misunderstanding of what the other side meant, myself included. My apologies to you, as well.

Thanks man. That means a lot. I'll endeavour to be a little less flippant in future.
Sorry for your loss, truly.

Ok, so maybe we can move this back to the topic at hand?

Goofle still hasn't responded to my rebuttal, so I'll introduce something peripheral to the whole 4chan/MAGA subculture that has eluded me.

Female anime/manga characters. So many men, included TheBatlord, at least as of today, represent themselves via avatar, facebook photo, etc. as "cute" animated female characters. Is this simply an extension of the "brony" phenomenon? Is it a sexual attraction to the "perfect", unattainable, fantasy girl? Rejection of societal norms that they feel have left them behind? Is it, somehow, trolling?

It's quite common from what I've noticed. I keep getting recommended these facebook groups where a bunch of teens/20 somethings trade in 'Deus Volt' lines and half-mocking/half-reverential Trump memes. 'Noticed by Senpai' and 'Fashy Dreams' and stuff like this. Where does this come from? Anyone know/have thoughts?

I think anime is just getting more popular and accepted.

The Batlord's was trolling/joking for the stark contrast between that image and his posts.

And yeah, the cute girl/waifu thing is definitely about weebs fetishizing so-called "perfect", unattainable women over real women.
