How gender activists stole the media, distorted medicine, and hurt Canadian kids

Canada has had a horrendous decade under Trudeau in every way that can be measured and quantified. And that even without mentioning the two issues that obsess me (and, as I happen to know) the writer of this piece the most.

It's very bad, shows deep ignorance on behalf of everyone involved with this in the Trudeau admin. The optics are catastrophic. Among other things, it gave Russia a giant propaganda coup. And not only Russia but all the low rent conspiracy theorists who love portraying Ukrainians as a bunch of Nazis.

Yet at the end of the day it was an accident. What's worse is that Trudeau had a decade to implement economic, demographic and other policies that transformed Canada from a thriving multicultural democracy to something resembling a third world $hithоlе. And the fault rests not only with him but with the entire deluded elite class of expensively (half-)educated dullards.

The best summation of it is this book by one of those guys who (like me) was comfortably a center-left liberal a decade ago and is considered a far right fascist today.

When I left the city almost a decade ago it was in that sweet spot where it was a very cool place to live culturally and the fact that it was one of the most left wing cities in North America was just part of our goofy charm of one of the world's top college towns or whatever. But the radicalization everything's undergone since, alongside certain demographic trends, is really... sad more than anything. Like, you don't have to inflict this lobotomy on yourself, you can actually live your lives like normal human beings in a beautiful city... but no... Gotta dive headlong into the stupidest mass hysterias of all time, communism, Palestine, trans, anything as long as it feeds into your pathetic resentment against the world as it is.
