I’m very cavalier and nonchalant in the face of chaos and death unless it gets close. Then I’m a chicken noodle.

I agree but I don't think they're savvy enough to pull anything off. There are already talking about postponing primaries, I wouldnt be surprised if we saw a postponement of the general election.

They could definitely screw it up but it makes it less sure to me.

Like I would've been more comfortable betting on Trump a month ago. The worse this gets the more unpredictable the elections seem.

Also... Side note... Pandemic = no more Trump rallies. And it's the perfect excuse for sleepy Joe to stay at home.

Trump is likely to get re-elected if he pays out over April and May like it appears is going to happen within the next two weeks. Plus they are opening up some amazing business loans through the SBA for smaller businesses (of which mine is among them) that look extraordinary. Several hundred grand at nearly 0% interest, 30 year repayment period. I'm watching the SBA and some of these loan companies like a hawk right now.

I'm not even saying I think he'll lose, but his odds are worse now than they were. There's still plenty of time of the economy to bounce back and the virus issue to fade, obviously.

Is it true the dems are trying to keep the republicans from sending the cash payouts to individuals?

Senate GOP releases coronavirus relief plan with up to $1,200 in cash payments to individuals

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer put down their marker for what their party would support, shortly after the Republicans released their plan. They called for a “Marshall Plan to rebuild our health care infrastructure” along with provisions to boost workers.
I guess you weren't wrong when you were saying Marshall law.

God I’ll never live that down.

Uh, what does “put down their marker” mean?
