From where I'm sitting, in those instances, he's responding to your sweeping utopian statements of support for programs that can clearly be improved for reasons of both efficacy and fraud. Improving the system is not the same as abolishing it, and pointing out flaws is the first step in that direction and isn't the same as opposing it. Strawman out the ass with that come on.

I don't have a beef with the guy or anything, but I see his views about the same as I see his tastes in music, he's a pleb, his posts read like what "this isn't even music" may read like to you

I don't recall him "coming back with some numbers" and he also called for direct removal of assistance based on some hilariously feely criteria, which is precisely the stuff I rip him for not "there is some fraud that could be fixed somehow" which is just a truism
