So the lady who got smeared and fired from Ukraine because she was in Guilianni's way, will testify today.
GOP strategy is to get her to admit she a) was not on the call, and b) is not aware of a quid pro quo. Bill Clinton was impeached for lying - "I did not have sexual relations with that woman." As of last night a huge GOP defense is that the Ukraine president has publicly stated that he did not feel any pressure from Trump. Wait a minute, hasn't the quid pro quo become secondary to all of the lying? Trump's last statement on Sonland is "I hardly know the guy". Well, if the dude testifying Friday checks out, then Trump took a personal phone call on an unsecured line from Sonland dining in a Ukraine restaurant. Sonland next week will either perjure the **** out of himself, or he's going to be the John Dean of this impeachment.
