Well Japanese military did **** that so terrible you can't repeat it. I knew a guy who was in his 90s and he still couldn't talk about what the Jap-soldiers did to him when he was a POW in WWII. Time couldn't heal his wounds. So maybe Mord is right after all.

Except that has nothing to do with anything and you act as if we didn't do terrible things our selves.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

Sounds more like xenophobia.

This is true to a degree, but pretty much everyone views abstract subjects such as racism through the lens of their personal lives and what's happening on a local level. I mean just look at you hopping in here with your own experiences as if racism in Japan is the worst racism in the whole world. Quit being so whiny, Mord.

Oh wow, you had to yell at a bank, if only Alton Sterling realized how much easier he had it than you as he was held down and executed by two officers over nothing.

This is where I am coming from: I am very tempted to think every Japanese person is docile and incapable of doing anything wrong. (Everyone knows America's sins and Americans are constantly being beat over the head with them.) Mord lives in Japan. He sees things we don't see and we see things he does't. I don't think his "you aint got nothing to complain about" (paraphrasing o/c) is the proper way going about it. However that being said what I get from him is that the Japanese are very insular and not welcoming of non-Japanese people.

Japanese before WWII was very isolated, and when you have a group that are insular or isolated it is very easy to have a "us versus them" mentality where racism, prejudice or hate can incubate. You can't deny that Japanese do not have a perfect humanitarian record for Manchukuo people or American soldiers during WWII. Just cause I mention that doesn't mean I am acting like America don't do anything during the war.
