Before anyone talks about money, they need to know that governments do not create their own money. Banks create money and LOAN it to countries [WITH INTEREST, mind you].
When you run a household, you have money coming in and you use that money to pay bills. But that is not how governments work. Money that a government earns goes to pay back the loans and interest. Say there is a 3% interest rate and they loan $1 Trillion to a country to let them use their currency. That bank has only printed $1 Trillion, but said government owes them $1.03 Trillion. They owe more money than actually exists. What do they do? |

If the government printed its own money, there would be no reason for federal taxes.

Anyone care to wager a guess who owns the central banks or created this system of usury?

you're not that bright my friend taxes are necessary to pay for govt thus some value must be extracted from society to do so the only scenario in which "printing their own money" would stop them from having to tax us is one where they print money for themselves to spend directly, inflating the currency which then inadvertently taxes us all next utopian plan? |
Welcome back.
