It is unless you’re just planning on paying back the principal.

Yes. APR is the full price of the loan (as opposed to the interest rate) and compound interest is interest charged on interest that you already owe if that helps clear things up.

I graduated with no student loans

I forget exactly what it cost per hourly credit but 12 was a full time student and they were definitely less than $100 a credit. I went part time, worked as janitor on campus and washed dishes at night. I remember the books being bull**** expensive. I still had money and time for punk rock shows. That was for my history degree not my education degree.

The thing is tuition is like 10 times as expensive now. The universities should be ashamed.

Also, I know you said you had good teachers who were adjuncts and I believe that but back then the professors were treated much better as well. It doesn’t mean they were better teachers but I was taught by tenured professors because the schools didn’t treat their teachers like fast food workers back then.

Sorry for the nostalgia but it really does keep getting worse all over.

Presidential candidate Andrew Yang is proposing a bold idea for Americans: Universal basic income, offering Americans over 18 years old a $1,000 stipend every month, no strings attached. But will it work? NBC’s Simone Boyce has this week’s Sunday Spotlight.
wonder if he'll make it to the debate stage next month

I have liked everything i've hear from Yang so far. I know he won't win this election, but I support his ideas.

Why does it seem like everybody thinks being in an abusive relationship is worse than having an abusive job? Abuse is abuse.
