I didn't know we needed a truce. We disagree on many things, and that's okay. But when I agree with you on something, I agree. I harbor no grudges.

As you put it, poor people/wage workers don't have serious representation because they're seen as easily replaceable by both government and corporations. They are not viewed as stakeholders.

The very existence of $14,000 suits is a prime example of money being flushed down the toilet through meaningless consumerism just for the sake of consuming. Make no mistake about it Lucem. The money and resources wasted on that suit are rightfully yours as a human being. It’s the theft of your medicine. It’s the theft of your shelter. It’s the theft of nutrition. It’s even the theft of your psychological well-being. That kind of opulence and excess on one side of the spectrum is an actively aggressive attack on the poor’s right to even exist. That money that exceeds any decent standard of what it means to be safe and comfortable is money that is not being spent to acknowledge your humanity. Yes, she should only buy cheap clothes that are only cheap because of inhumane labor exploitation rather than pay a higher price to try and properly compensate somebody for their labor.
