There’s millions of people in America whose finances are so fragile that an illness like a bad flu or an injury like a broken thumb could kill them because two weeks out no pay means no rent or no power and that **** keeps snowballing until they’re physically and psychologically wrecked. Not everyone has the fortitude and the actual strength to survive a stint of homelessness. And with Trump’s latest budget proposal the safety net is getting thinner and weaker. Looking at that kind of situation is like looking down the barrel of a gun.

You won’t get unemployment if they’re willing to take you back after you’re sick and by then what will you have lost?

We have the means to fix this. It’s time to stop being insane.
