The only thing I know of Chula was he said openly. 1. he was bullied as a kid, and 2. he said he was going through a mid-life crisis. 3. He himself openly admitted that his son had issues. Whether that is something that was inherited and it was something he struggled with I am not sure. I never made assumptions and tried to diagnose him as have one condition or another. I just didn't know where he was coming from.

When he got emotionally charge or what he said was a little aggressive I took what he said with a grain of salt. I thought he was always in control of his faculties. I didn't consider his actions stemming from mental issues. I just thought he was trying to keep up with the Jonse's with the trolling. What I thought was he could turn it off at will and just be himself when he wanted to.

The way I thought of him was that he's a pretty smart guy who done well without a college degree. If he has serious problems then it was something I was unaware of. I just hope he is doing well.

but is there anyone here not experiencing some kind of mental illness?
I’m asking because not only are there quite a few expressing this as a problem,
but every once-in-a-while someone newly surprises me by expressing this self-diagnosis.

I think internet forums and social media are magnets for mental illness.

If that’s true, then all the ones I’m on now or have ever been on, except this one, are doing a pretty good job of hiding it.

It's just a theory. This is also a dying forum that doesn't bring in too many casual members. It's filled with people that live here.
