There's definitely a leveling out of the crazy in the early/mid 20s. Doesn't necessarily make you sane but it does help with the crazy highs and lows.

I mean that's an old people thing. Haven't the slightest experience with dementia and I don't think anyone here does either.

Your brain doesn't really fully develop until your late 20s.
Kinda wonder whether realizations develop that make people
become even more suicidal around 27. Twenties can be a difficult time.
