How would you answer the questions you asked?

What do you mean by "it is"? You mean the way I used it is a false dilemma? I don't quite understand how. If we're comparing the two major political parties in the US and we're noting their differences, if I asked what would be the causality for racial disparity between two said parties, how is that a false dilemma? Should I bring the Greens and the Libertarians into the discussion as well? Perhaps I'm simply misunderstanding you.
It was sloppily used tbh, but I meant that the republican versus democrat comparisons are a false dilemma which is something to be avoided. Maybe thinking about it like this will help: you ask people if they want an Xbox, their choices are yes and no, but if you ask people if they want an Xbox or a Playstation, the focus shifts from the value of a console to which one is better or worse. It's meant to obscure.

I also still don't really know what your broader question is.

I don't think he was Belgium. See MicShamaz started a thread asking for recs. So I thought I give him some European bands cause he's from Europe and whatnot and he totally criticized the Belgium bands. Left me thinking he was anti-Flemish or anti-Walloon or something. I honestly thought they were good bands so I didn't understand why he had this Belgium beef he had. He disliked like 99% of the recs I gave him, except Sleep Party People. How much he liked them IDK. I guess he sorta liked them cause they were from his country of Denmark IINM. So that is why I think he is from Denmark and not Belgium.

Here I was thinking we were having a good time.

One man's tedium is another man's revelry.

You mean that guy who had his own specific taste in music and didn't try to dickwave about his music taste and say "I know more about music than you ever will?" cause he wasn't trying to make his taste in music be something to hold over other people? Yeah that guy sucked.

As in was one of our best members and you're an idiot for not seeing his worth. And he was just chill and cool to talk to ya know.
