I don't actually think it makes you a homophobe on an individual basis tbh. But I do think a lot of it comes down perception and identity. The discrepancy I noted is relevant because it exposes a stigma that acts as a motivating factor in shaping that trend.

Women went through that in the sixties where they were called racists for not ****ing black guys. The MC5, who were white, were notorious for pressuring women into sex using the aren’t you down with the struggle crap. Even The Stooges thought that was slimey.
