I laughed pretty hard when I went back to your posts toward me on the Covid thread. There's nothing hard to understand here. That quote of yours I used was just one example. Your first three posts alone were so off the rails that I find it rather puzzling that you can't seem to remember basic ****. All I said was that there were hundreds of ongoing studies and you went on a rant about how I don't appreciate the scientific method...after I literally praised that very process. You say I'm not coherent, but you can't even follow a train of thought between two posts.

Or even Angel.

You're not communicating a train of thought. Science isn't looking good for your position and yet you cling to one study from over a year ago like it's a teddy bear.

It's like outrunning a bear and I have better shoes than you.

jwb 09-18-2021 05:21 PM

You think too much of yourself lol

You aren't any smarter than anyone here from what I've seen. Big deal you corrected me and now won't let go of it on some trivia pursuit style **** cause you have nothing but free time and steel reserve lol

I don't "cling" to studies to prove my point. I'm talking about your behavior and reactions. You didn't even bother reading two cited (and peer reviewed) Australian studies before claiming they were fraudulent lol. You are like those Republicans who claim an election is invalid before the votes are counted.

Marie Monday 09-18-2021 05:34 PM

Well what do you expect him to do though, fact check the paper himself by reading it?

I didn't claim those were fraudulent, I asked if you were talking about the studies that are fraudulent. And I'm not gonna read every study. There are dozens of them and even actual scientists have to professionally peer review them and compare all of the data between them to get a picture of what they all say. Do you think you're brilliant enough to magically know the truth from reading a study?

Anteater 09-18-2021 06:00 PM

Depends.

There are some studies I looked at individually where it seemed pretty obvious that there were rock solid conclusions to be had (e.g - some of the published data about vaccine efficacy rates between the different brands based on large scale trials). Ivermectin is a little different because there's so much variation in testing that needs to happen for dosage levels to determine effectiveness, so that's why it is taking over a year to get anything conclusive. Same thing is happening with budesonide and fluvoxamine.
