We're just never going to get this border thing right.

Now Greta turns on Joe! Teen eco-warrior calls Biden a hypocrite for his Build Back Better plan – which she says is NOT investing in green tech

Does anyone actually take Greta seriously? She prognosticates the climate apocalypse (and presumably, it's her top concern) and opposes nuclear energy.

Because what happens if the nuclear plant blows up like Chernobyl? Still, no easy answers, are there?

Yeah, Greta isn't treated as the child-guru, voice of conscience that she once was, but still,
(i) she doesn't need a surname to be recognised and (ii) Psy-Fi and his source consider her opinion to be newsworthy.

In that sense, Greta has longer-lasting fame than two other teen spokespersons: Emma Gonzalez and David Hogg, who hoped that the seventeen dead Parkland shooting of 2018 might be a wake up call:-

.....

Where are they now? If anybody knows, they should contact MTG so that she can go harrass them in the street one more time:-

Greta's gonna run out of things to whine about eventually at this rate.

A blast into a clean energy future? Scientists tout nuclear fusion breakthrough

That won't be any time soon, Anteater. Some scientists are now predicting that climate change issues will last longer than one cable news cycle.

MTG is also set to whine for years to come; she got the US taxpayer to fund her, along with a zillion dollars of dark money.

My read is: if you look beyond the screeching, what she represents is the EU (read Davos) consensus on climate change, and nuclear energy is not part of their profit model.

She's the platonic ideal of a European activist. She's supposed to "make us feel uncomfortable" or something with her "radical" truth bombs but ultimately the upshot is "listen to Brussels and Davos, the grownups in the room".

"Whining" according to Anteater, "screeching" according to jadis. If nothing else, Greta sure pulls the sexist tropes out into the open!
