It's still selfish as ****, since one of the biggest issues of this whole pandemic is the health care system being overwhelmed. An avoidable hospital stay takes a lot of already scarce resources away from people who really need it. Can't even imagine how doctors and nurses feel when they have to keep saving dumbasses who could have prevented themselves from being hospitalised by something as quick, simple, free and save as a vaccine.

I have to say, and this may be a bit of a change of heart, but I really don't like how people are starting to be forced to take the vaccine. I understand all of the measures that everyone has to respect in terms of mask wearing, social distancing etc, but for people to basically be forced to take a largely unproven remedy seems like going too far. Especially since it is now clear that taking the vaccine does not prevent you from getting the virus and spreading it to others. Meaning the vaccine is more or less about not getting severely ill. Which should be up to everyone's individual choice.

Which Government, Croatia? The US isn't quite at mandatory just yet and probably never will be.

It’s not mandatory here either (UK). The Scottish government are pretty ****ty though and you need a “covid passport” to get in to some places, even though this was previously promised it would never be a thing. They apparently brought it in to encourage more people to get the vaccination but I know loads of people who still haven’t bothered getting it. Each to their own.
