Yes!!! I've been saying this for nearly 20 years. Moulin Rouge is about the corniest thing I've ever seen, and not even in a way that's fun to roast. It's so sincere in its over the top cheese that I just groan.

I'm sorry but that movie is like a cocaine fever dream and not in the good kind of way.

The only saving grace is how close Ewan McGregor gets me to declaring myself gay. That man is gorgeous.

I agree fully but it will never not be my favorite sing-along.

I remember at the time he said something like "Jazz was new for them, and Rap is like that now." But Gatsby game out in 2013. Like, 30 years after rap was new.
should have gotten Will Smith instead lol. He can turn any bland POS into a box office hit with his hip hopping ways.

Look at the comment section of that video too. Will Smith dickriders are legion.

I’m not gonna lie and say I didn’t have every word of that song memorized back around the turn of the millennium, sorry, Willennium.

I never liked Moulin Rouge outside of the art design but I did enjoy Romeo + Juliet.

There are people who make tacky movies that work, but Baz isn't one of those people.

It's never been entertaining in any of the movies he's made that I've seen.
