Thanks Jack - good to hear I've spread some word successfully

There's still a bunch of these kinds of lists dotted around the boards which tailed off, which is a bit of a shame really. Hopefully they'll pick up again and get finished, as I quite like following threads like this.

I'd just like to say that after a year of inactivity on these forums, this thread caught my eye yesterday, and I read it from beginning to end and have now spent this Saturday morning/afternoon checking out all of the mixes. Fantastic listen/read!

Thanks man, glad you enjoyed

Any albums you (or anyone else for that matter) like the look of, just drop us a line and I'll get a link your way.

Huh. Strangely enough I never really knew too much about your taste in music before (other than that you like C86 and love Elvis Costello) but with this read I discovered I have quite a bit in common with you that I have yet to write anything about on this thread. I'd like to do a top 100 sometime soon, in fact I've been working on it for a couple weeks now and figured I'd go through and see how in depth some other members were. I discovered your reviews will, no doubt, put my list to shame. This was a great read, and I really enjoyed a lot of the stuff on here. Any chance I could get 4, 9, and 21? That's Talk Talk, The The, and Tangerine Dream. And that's bizarre, the 3 artists that I most want to check out from your list all start with t's and two of them have two repeating words for the band name. I know that's kind of a big request, but if you ever get a chance I would be forever in your debt to return some great music.

Yeah, I'll get those albums up for you. I'm taking a break from the interwebs for a few days, so I should have them online by early next week.

As for your own top 100, go for it

These 100 Albums threads are great. You should put all of them together in there own forum. I love shuffling through them, feel like I get to know the person as I read their REVIEWS. Cool Stuff Bulldog, The Urban 100 is great too and both of the top 10's are shocking.

Thanks buddy

A forum for all these wouldn't be a bad idea. I've lost count of the amount of list threads that are lying around, some of which are progressing and or not, but there's definitely enough to uphold a lively section of this site of their own.

When I get bored, I simply come to this thread and pick up an album I don't have. There's just so many great albums here. Such a great list man.
