My favourite things to obsess over is X-Files, Star Wars, Star Trek (still getting through the whole load of series though but love it to bits so far), Java, building phone/tablet apps, knitting, learning everything I can about drugs and what they do, alien and paranormal theories, documentaries, etc.

And when did the women who call themselves nerds thing come up again? People get so butthurt about that ****. My favorite is when two women passive aggressively size compare on who's the 'bigger' nerd as if it even matters. I always try to encourage these discussions for my secret, sadistic amusement.
Yeah that's just lame. I don't go around telling people I'm a nerd but felt like I should mention on here that women can have nerdy traits and not try to change the system or as a form of fitting in with the new trend. It's funny how a couple of people on here who haven't talked to be from Adam, think that I'm lying about my interests to impress people.

just pointing out that nerds in general aren't always that smart. really it's my fault for being lazy and accepting the stereotype without question
Oh no it wasn't directed at you per say, but the overall conversation. I wanted people to realise that you can't judge a book by it's cover. A woman might dress a certain way that has no relation whatsoever to the nerd stereotype but is actually passionate about things that many consider "lame" or "nerdy".

I think my dads dementia is starting to settle in. I'm having the hardest time separating Vanilla and Violet for some reason. I'm an idiot.

Big difference there, but to be fair Violet for a while wouldn't reveal his/her username on MusicBanter. Violet is into Heavy Metal, and is a regular in plug. Vanilla is a mod, she's into the Stones, pop and electronica - me thinks.

edit: No worries, people confuse me with Ninetales.

I'm half joking but if you tried it out as a side thing you might find yourself in a pretty lucrative situation with a little bit of luck and the right personality.
