Not because its Odd Future.

I dunno, I've always liked Funny or Die

and I liked that skit the ending is the best.

"You're just a little too rapey..."
Hahahaha that's some funny ****.

If you can spare a few minutes and have any interest in a geeky critical analysis of Tyler the Creator then watch this review. I pretty much agree with it.

Don't get me wrong, I love a lot of their stuff.
But the little that I don't like seems forced. I was just saying that it wasn't necessarily Odd Future's fault that it may have been forced.

I did want to add to this thread, that the more I've been listening to OFWGKTA, the more I'm getting hooked.

i know when people think of OF the first dudes to come to mind are Tyler and Earl and Mellowhype, but the rest of the group deserves some recognition. listening to alot of the solo albums they released, there's some surprising diversity in sound and lyrical content. it's not all dark atmosphere and songs about rape and torture. guys like

Frank Ocean

The Jet Age of Tomorrow

Domo Genesis

and that's not even everyone else in the group. honestly, i think the rest of the group deserves as much hype

Ever member is really talented, but

Tyler > Earl > Frank > Hodgy > Domo > Jasper

And the rest of them haven't released enough material to be ranked.

I like them by default, because their music is more reminiscent of that late '90s underground strain that I already love. The fact that they're doing what they're doing, and getting as much popularity as they are, is a good sign in my eyes... whereas a lot of people may want to keep underground underground, but I'd rather better music be more available to the masses because there's a better chance that more folks in the future will be influenced by something better than what's being shat out of the current "hip pop" scene, even at the risk of a good group going bad via popular demand.
That kinda brings me to the point that I don't really see anything new at all with this group, but what I do find positive is the fact that, due to how much more easy it is to get yourself out there in comparison to even 10 years ago, a lot more people are enjoying something they may not have otherwise known about. I prefer to see this as a good thing.

Really? Im not seeing this at all, the lyrics way more "rapey" like that video said. A lot of people have been labeling them horrocore or something, and i can kinda agree with that.

I think Tyler, The Creator might have my favourite voice for a rapper. Off hand I can only think of Proof that's comparable.
