sorry that was a tyop on my part,....

they are a great band to see live,...i normally 'move' alot when i'm at shows,...dancein around and such,....but i often find myself just standing, mouth agape while watching these guys,...

its also great to put on when i'm hangin out at the house and just kinda wanna zone out, or lay around and read,....

Its always a hard decision with STS9. Dance or watch? Both Are very compelling. Check out a Canadian band The New Deal. They do the same thing, "Organic techno"-but slightly different.

Typo fixed. Judging by their songs on Myspace they seem quite cheesy and hardly original. Listenable but not mind blowing. I bet their live shows are good though.

Very good assumption. their studio work, from my experience, is pretty pointless to own, but live they are like no other.

I thought STS9 was the best of those bands, like the New Deal and the Disco Biscuits. The only one I've seen out of those was the New Deal, maybe a bad show.

Plenty of free, live STS9 on archive.org btw

I love that song "Gone Gone Gone" by New Deal, glad to see they are getting some mention.
