Daft Punk fans care because it's also been so long since they have released original material. Yes The Tron Legacy soundtrack was good but before that their last album was released back in 05 so their fans are really craving this new stuff and that's where all the hype is coming from but I don't even care about the hype. I just want their new music.

And why not? That's what they've produced in the past. The single with Pharrell would indicate they're going in the same direction.

Yeah it leaked....unfortunately I found the vast majority of the tracks on the album to be boring ,slow and self -indulgent.

Many are mediocre at first glance. That can't overshadow how I'm in love with the rest of it though.

"Instant Crush" and "Doin It Right" are pretty good,but the other songs almost put me to sleep!

No,quite the contrary,everything is downtempo and lush....Get Lucky is probably one of the fastest songs the whole album.
