Just doesn't give me the same feelings, it's like they're a different genre. It's like they're a different band. In short, they weren't exactly a band to me, and I didn't listen to them expecting or wanting them to either expirement or grow. I listened to them because of that Atlantis To Interzone remix.

I think it takes a certain perspective. I love the new album all the way from the songs to the album cover (which fits the music perfectly, in my opinion). I might be in the minority...especially since everyone cringed when I put the album on with my friends, but I think its a great freaking album. I always end up liking the albums everyone seems to hate.

This is fair. I can appreciate that if you were looking for the same thing over again, then (II) won't have impressed you. But I don't think there's ever been a band that's done that. Apart from perhaps Coldplay.

Treated as an album completely removed from their first it's an excellent electronic album. It has more trippy vocals than mental but Alice Glass still manages to keep it crazy unique.

I just listened to I and II back to back today and I have to say, I like II better. They have more of a unique voice in that album. I can't wait to hear what else they can do.

I have II on repeat, it's EARGASMIC!!!! I think they've outdone themselves, I'm so impressed. I think they've matured as a group personally.

"Courtship Dating" is by far the best song they've ever recorded....
I have mixed feelings about both albums. Some songs are so good they make me wet myself but it bleeds together and gets very, very boring at parts. Neither album is solid.....

i'd agree that both albums are mediocre. they don't do pacing well. but they use great samples/effects.

If I looked at the albums as a collection of songs lacking cohesion, I'd still be lukewarm.....6.5/10.
