No. It's a Pop song given a high gloss finish by Trever Horn's production. It's decent enough but certainly not Trip Hop.

I will keep going! Not quite Trip Hop but it's definitely got an Electronic Vibe. This is definitely worth hearing out. Superb track and album (Matador) :

I'd really like to get more into trip hop, i'm really only aware of massive attack, deltron 3030, portishead and dj shadow any recommendations?

ADORE THEM. I probably talk about them too much but they were one of the first artists I listened to that introduced me to IDM/Ambient kind of stuff. Or "Experimental" as they call themselves. I slightly prefer Black Paris 86 to Matador but all is well with Arms & Sleepers
