So, what sub-genre, is this?
Forgive me for the newbish question, but I would like to know what sub-genre of electronic music I am performing. This is a song I recently put out...it's my first. The intent here isn't to advertise (I don't have a band to advertise, anyways). Rather, it's to better understand what I'm making and to better explain to people what I'm doing.
Sincerely, Go!Love LINK REMOVED |

Don't you know what sound you are aiming for? Or what your influences are or the audience you are aiming for? BTW that link IS advertising.

Just because Owl City and Postal Service might be considered synth pop doesn't mean that all synth pop sounds like those 2 bands... And you should try to figure out what artists influence the music you make, I garauntee some things you listen to are finding their way in there. |

To be honest, I kind of just make the music. Sure, I give a good amount of thought into what I'm making, but not in regards to what is influencing the sound or beat. |
