Default Dubstep: Help!

A few weeks back somebody posted about some dubstep album they were really digging and at the time I was intrigued but not really in a dubstep mood so I figured I'd come back to it. I'm pretty sure it was it's own thread though I suppose it may have been in an already existing thread. Now I can't for the life of me remember what album it was or even who posted about it. The only thing I'm pretty sure about is that it was posted by an MB regular. Now I'm in the mood and have to clue where to look.

So anyone have any recollection of posting something like that a while back? I'd love to hear about it if you did.

I wrote a review of some Dubstep singles but it was like 2 months ago so probably not what you're looking for.
sidewinder and jackhammer should check their post histories cause they're likely suspects.

I came across that review of yours in my searching, and though it's not what I was looking for, that does sound like like some good shit.

And, yeah, Sidewinder and Jackhammer are two of my prime suspects.

I was thinking it might be Jackhammer, and the recent album by Noisia? Last dubstep-related thing I saw him post.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

I posted about a Dub album I was digging and a Dubstep track : http://www.musicbanter.com/electroni...tml#post852711 but no albums.

I did mention the Noisia album but that is an eclectic album with no defining sound.

Hmm... I don't think either of those are it unfortunately. That Noisia album sounds like it might be good though!

I got it recently...
The Noisia album contains D&B, Electro, Breaks, and some Dubstep.
Me personally, being a long-time Noisia fan when they put all their energy into their D&B... This album.. I dunno.. I might be biased or something but it's pretty weak. Not coherent as an album at all... more just a collection of tracks they messed around with in the past couple years.

It's fine if you're specifically into each genre presented, but don't expect much beyond a random selection of tunes. Some of the tunes I like, just saying, it's not the kind of "album" that could be hurt by just tossing out everything you don't like.

Just a head up.

I've only just joined, so I can't be of any help in finding that post, but you should check out Rusko!
