Skrillex is unreal. One of my favorite producers for sure.

Yeah I just wish he'd change his sound a bit. It's like he's taking out a page from Deadmau5's book.

i think that Wolfgang has more to do with both of their sounds they way they are. Wolfgang Gartner is so underrated.

Oh absolutely. I thought the first Skrillex song I heard (his remix of Rock That Body) was actually him.

Thanks guys for the posts...it's good to learn about dubstep after being in the dark. I heard Britney's new album has some in it?

Post-dubstep

I'm going to throw post-dubstep into the mix. Dubstep producers are experimenting with less bmp allow more artistic freedom. Much easier to chill to aswell.

Google Stamp The Wax for a new music blog which gives some banging examples, which are part of a growing new scene in the UK.

I think it's becoming so popular because of all the different types there are.. It can be extremely hard or really nice and soft. I've head many different styles of it so far. Plus it can be mixed with any other Genre of music. Brittany Spears, Snoop Dogg, and Korn have all worked with a dubstep artist. 3 extremely different types of music, but they also all keep the feel of the original genre instead of just being considered dubstep in the end.

But I do feel like the entire world woke up and felt "I can do it too." So now it might be hard to actually find something really really good that isn't already played out.

I thought this was interesting..
