Default What kind of electronica is this?

Since I'm not allowed to post links, if you search "Polynomial Gameplay (HD)" it's the fourth listing, the username of the uploader is "club4ghz".

I really like the uplifting feeling of it. I used to listen to Goa/Psy when I started getting into electro, but I found it often bringing me down, it's too dark for me even though it sounds great.

So I found the name and artist of the real song. The one I posted about got taken down.

The song is Cressida- 6am (Kyau & Albert Remix). I found some other songs that seem to be the same sort of trance, but I still don't know specifically what trance these songs are. Some of the other songs are Paul miller - crystal source, Mikkas - K.L.I.M.A.X.

Sounds like straight up Trance to me.
Definitely not Epic Trance, not Goa, not Acid... Maybe closer to Progressive Trance. I don't think it should matter either way though. Knowing it's Trance is enough. Genres don't really need to be broken down in the way they often are. All it does is compartmentalize fans and restrict growth.
I don't even like Trance (anymore) and I still love the influence it has had on music I do like.
Be more receptive to music as music rather than a style, and you'll get more enjoyment out of it.

The main sub-genres of Trance are Progressive, Epic, Hard, Goa, Psy, and Tech. I'd say Kyau vs. Albert are Epic, and leave it at that. Epic refers to the songs that are dramatic and are known for creating a feeling of "euphoria" with the long breaks and uplifting melodies. I could send you a message with some examples, because it'd probably be pretty long.
