Perhaps you could do so here eventually, but yeah, definetly not straight away. The general reason is we want members to be a part of the community and not just here for a single purpose like spamming. Someone advertising/spamming away their work in their own thread without otherwise integrating with the rest of us is generally not liked very much.

The fact that you are asking us this question instead of just posting your work indicates you're the type of person we want to stick around here and join our community. Please do so.

Speaking of that, if I feel like playing some stuff for your enjoyment (just recreational piano rags or Clapton guitar covers), how long ought I to have been here before I am allowed to do that?

[EDIT: This wasn't the reason I joined here, I'm just wondering!]

If anyone wants to hear some Scott Joplin....

Actually, they'll have to wait until I've recorded myself playing something! It's only because I love his stuff, and want to give Burning Down and other Joplin fans some entertainment.

I just thought of something here . . . what does this have to do with Producing?
I have worked with numerous producers, and even produced a number of sessions in my day.
