Nay, I hate Skrillex, how he won 3 grammys I'll never know. I could string better tune together.

Progressive House? I don't see much of any semblance to Progressive House. Deadmau5, definitely. But not Skrillex.

In this case, the drop would be at 1:22.

Is that Skrillex? Also, why is it called the drop?

No, but the same kind of stuff. I don't honestly know why it's called a drop to be honest. In Trance and similar genres you have a buildup and then a climax. In Dubstep, or rather Brostep, there's drops.

So, the question for MrD00d is: are you going to stop listening to diplo as well? Considering his name is on the song just as much as skrillex's

Just color me disappointed. I'm not a 'fan'. And I guess it seals the deal. I don't harbor hatred for him as I do Skrillex. I don't own any Diplo exclusive albums or anything. Hell, I don't even know if he has albums at all. I'm familiar with him from doing features with people. I first noticed he was featured on a couple Beck songs. Then I started noticing him in hiphop features. Now he's in the dubstep world. But, it's not a good look for him. What his level of involvement on the track is is a mystery to me...

I think he's done a lot for the electronic community. Yah he may have gone a little downhill, but atleast hes showing that music can be more than just rapping about money and pussy

Ummm, it's not hard to do, really. You're taking a very small demographic, and making it out to be the sole reason why popular music "sucks".

I'm not a fan of Skrillex at all. His music reminds me of a 14yr old Scottish boy on Acid Pro 4 "mixing" acapellas into a song, which went about school when I was young.

I think Skrillex is very talented at what he does.. which is produce noise.. There were a few tunes of his i enjoyed.. Ruffneck (Full flex) was, too me, a fun song. For the most part though, i can't enjoy his music at all. My main problem with Skrillex is that, because he blew up the way he did, there are many imitators and it has made it difficult to find good music i haven't heard before because i have to wade through so much crap music to find it.
