Default Yppah

No thread already and I want to discuss their new release, which some are already dubbing the anthem to the summer.
And if the summers anything like the album 'Eighty One', it's going to be mental.

A great mix of tracks on the record, from the progressive acoustic and ambient stylings of 'Never Mess With Sunday'

to pieces with great vocals and melancholy lazy days instrumentals such as 'Film Burn'

So, anybody else heard this record (if not, get it, you won't be disappointed) or anything else Yppah have produced?

I've listened to the album twice and I cannot recall a single moment from it, which is a shame because I quite like the female vocalist, Anomie Belle. I'll keep it around because there just hasn't been a lot of trip hop coming out lately, and with any luck some kind of breakthrough will happen and I will understand why people like it so much, but at this point I'm pretty underwhelmed.

She's fantastic. I am going to listen to this album thoroughly as I am already liking the tracks shown.

I quite liked that, I'll probably download them later. Any pointers for albums?

I'm a rhetoric puzzle.
Thinking people who enjoyed this, may enjoy Grimes's album 'Visions' also released this year.
