I'm really used to my electronic having no vocals except for the occasional sample, which I enjoy as well. That being said, I'm really used to no vocals, but having vocals in there won't diminish my liking of it. It's kind of the same way for Jazz, except some of the vocals I've heard in there feel like they don't fit at all.

Depends on the track. Vocals suit some electronic tunes, some they don't.

Personally I like vocal tracks but only if they are done right. I like remixes that work the original vocal in a new direction.

Back to topic. I'm good with either, that said I did complete my 4th album which is the vocal edit, where previous albums I've DJ'd have had a mix of both.
Generally I'm a vocals guy, but a non-vocal track can stand as a support for the framework of the album, or just a linkage to get you from A to B.

It really depends, specifically on the genre. For example, in House style electronica like Daft Punk vocals feel like a natural part of the song & definitely bring a lot to the table. Unfortunately in a lot of hardstyle or dubstep the vocals feel forced & predictable (but there are definite exceptions). The lyrics matter, too. Dubstep suffers from a lot of generic phrases in predictable moments (just before the beat drops) that really don't add any substance whatsoever & often are just annoyances or feel like unnecessary clutter.
