Opinions on Chiptunes?

So I've recently gotten really into the Chiptune scene. It could be because I love video games or anything else. I couldn't tell you why. I think that it actually segways into a fairly interesting idea of using an item past it's original intended purpose.

What are all of your thoughts?

Also I'd appreciate any feedback on this track I made as well, I'm just starting out with the electronic music thing. I'm on soundcloud as The Zero Effect.

I used to really enjoy listening to chiptune, probably the nostalgic feeling of the sounds used to make it. Sabrepulse, Henry Homesweet and Shirobon were favourites.

As for your soundcloud, Dream Into The Hivemind sounds pretty good.
