wow, they made an opera based on journey to the west? takes me back to mandarin class...the legend of the monkey king is a huge deal in china. i'm so tempted to give it a listen.

not sure if it has been posted, but has anyone heard of the new album for the gorillaz? and when it's suppose to be due? my friend just told me a couple days ago, and wanna know if anyone has heard about the buzz? do like their music. esp. their last album.

They have a countdown timer on their site. "Plastic Beach" is due to arrive in about a month.

Yeah, if you guys haven't explored Plastic Beach too much, you can listen to about 4 songs that are going to be on the album. The recent one is on the official site, called "Stylo". The others were played on BBC radio or something.

I have a feeling this one is going to have even more guests on the album than the last, and that a lot of them are going to have the same style as Stylo and Rockit (off of D Sides).
